Riccardo Colombo runs Blayse Ceramic as a studio and showroom in Weißensee — and pursues, on the side, what almost no Berlin ceramics workshop offers: systematic glaze chemistry. Commissions and brand collaborations keep his own practice visible; in teaching, the research culminates in a four-day Glaze Chemistry Lab where learners develop their own glazes instead of working through ready-made recipes.
