Craft retreats near Berlin & creative intensives

A taster session tells you whether a craft holds you — a few uninterrupted days tell you how far it can carry. This page gathers the multi-day formats from our curated studios: from a weekend course in a Berlin workshop to a retreat just outside the city.

An intensive here means consecutive days, one craft at the centre, a small group. Not a programme of twelve topics, but time to stay with one thing — the difference between “tried it” and “learned it”.

Retreats pass our strictest filter: they take place in Brandenburg within day-trip distance of Berlin, or are run by a Berlin studio we already list. The material craft is the centre of gravity — whether a pottery retreat or a week of greenwood carving by a lake, never a wellness weekend with a craft add-on. That is why we never list more than six retreats at once; how we choose is documented in the open.
