From printmaking via fibre and sculpture to ceramics: Marilyne Blais studied visual arts in Montréal and Vancouver before founding her own label in 2017 and bringing her studio to Berlin-Neukölln in 2018. Her wheel-thrown geometric forms with airbrushed colour gradients — between Art Deco, Bauhaus and Memphis — are stocked in Berlin retail and have been profiled by the city press. In her teaching she translates that precision into a course arc that asks beginners to master exactly one skill per week.
