Kursleitung »Working with Wood« — Maschinen- und Entwurfsunterricht für Anfängerinnen und Anfänger
Woodwork Academy, Berlin-Treptow
Lluis Mateu’s portfolio reads like the order book of a workshop that never builds anything twice: timber-frame constructions, complete staircases in solid oak, custom music cabinetry, annexes for a farm — documented in the Woodwork Academy’s blog posts. It is the kind of experience you need to trust beginners with something unusual: their own design instead of the cookie-cutter project.
In Treptow he teaches newcomers what most courses leave out — table saw, bandsaw, mitre saw, drill press. Participants describe how he makes »scary« steps approachable; dismantling the fear of the machine is not a side effect here but the point of the lesson.
